The Lakewood Gladiators is a competitive baseball program located in Lakewood, New York. They have teams for levels 8U through 16U. The program was established to give ball players in the Southwestern Central School District an opportunity to tryout and possibly participate in a local travel ball club. While established as an asset for SWCS district, players from surrounding towns are welcome to tryout for each team. Annual schedules are decided on and managed by the head coach of each team. Many teams participate in league and/or tournament play starting in May and wrapping up in July/August. Practice schedules are also determined by each coach and may run consistently throughout the year or may begin in the new year/early spring, depending on the team’s goals. The Lakewood Gladiators place high value on player and team development, good sportsmanship, and a deep respect for the game of baseball.
